How We Started:

We began making soap a couple of years ago simply out of curiosity.  It sounded fun!  The idea came from my sister.  But, my husband thought it was pretty neat how you could mix all of this stuff together and see soap come out!  He himself is now an avid soap maker, and is working on developing a line of men's products, including men's shaving soap, but it works great on me too!  He also recognized this is something we could continue to do well into retirement.  We tried melt and pour soap kits but after some use determined the longevity of those soaps was considerably less than soaps made using the Cold Process method. 

 

We began to experiment with various recipes, essential oils and colorants and next thing you know we were hooked!  We haven't purchased a bar of soap from the store since we began making our own.  The gentleness of the soap and the aroma of the essential oils is very difficult to surpass.  Making soaps without chemicals, detergents, or other 'unnatural' products, makes them very safe to use and are good for you, your family, and the world around you.

 

We began giving away samples to friends, family and co-workers.  Eventually, we began to sell our products.  The next phase in our growth came about as we began to participate as vendors in craft fairs, and were blessed with the opportunity to sell our soaps wholesale to various businesses.

Now, that we have established this website we sincerely hope to expand our business and make many, many new friends as we proudly display our products via the world wide web.
